A small utility that helps you convert units of measurement.
Stripping it all up
Evrnet Unit Converter is a very simple unit converter. The software is free and can be downloaded from the official website. It works very well on all Windows editions and you can make it run at Windows startup.
We did not find any setting regarding the units of measurement to pick, so you only get the choices of “Inches to Meters”, “Meters to Inches” and “Inches to Miles”. This limits the user’s choice. We found it odd that the program didn’t offer you the possibility to pick a single unit.
Even if you need to convert only one unit, you will probably end up with multiple results. For example, if you want to convert 2 inches into meters, you will get the result of 2 meters while you really need to get the result of 2.
To the best of our knowledge, the converter only works when you type the desired result. You can enter values in both metric and imperial units, so the software does not care what measurement system you are using.
Results look clean
The GUI of Evrnet Unit Converter is clean and you can get familiar with it without any problem. You can check your results and get a good idea of what the final conversion will be.
The buttons on the right-hand side of the window are self-explanatory and the settings on the left side are straightforward to understand.
The conversion process is intuitive
While the overall setup looks simple, we noticed that the entry box for the conversion parameter is pretty narrow. As a result, you need to type your text with great care in order to avoid missing any character.
Once you are done, you can click the “Show Details” button to see the conversion result. In some cases, you may find that the results appear outside of the text entry box. This is most likely a bug because the results should be inside the text box but there is no problem with the output as it works perfectly well.
The conversion process is swift
All things considered, the conversion process is fast. There is no need to run time consuming tests as it takes less than a second to get the results.
The software can calculate the most popular units of measurements, but you need to type the number you want to get converted. While this is the case, you may not need to know what the target unit
